Boston Fed Hosts Working Cities Events
The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is hosting a series of informational sessions about the Working Cities Challenge in Connecticut, a grant competition designed to support economic development strategies in 16 small and mid-size cities.
Eligible communities are: Bridgeport, Bristol, Danbury, Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Meriden, Middletown, New Britain, New Haven, New London, Norwich, Torrington, Waterbury, West Haven, and Windham.
Sessions:
- Friday, September 23: 10 am
Naugatuck Valley Community College, 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury - Wednesday, September 28: 10 am
Energize CT Center, 122 Universal Drive North, North Haven - Tuesday, October 18: 10 am
Goodwin College, 1 Riverside Drive, East Hartford - Friday, October 21: 10 am
Three Rivers Community College, 574 New London Turnpike, Norwich
Each session will provide an overview of the Working Cities Challenge, the RFP process, and the criteria cities should consider.
