Funding in Sandy Relief Bill

There is $25 million in employment and training funding through the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) for “dislocated workers assistance for necessary expenses directly related to Hurricane Sandy.”

The funding runs until Sept. 30, 2013. If you have an unmet need that fits the funding, this may a good time to make a request directly to the U.S. DOL or through the Connecticut Department of Labor.
