Property Tax Changes Rejected

Issues & Policies

Many property tax bills were introduced this year that centered on delaying or implementing municipal revaluations but none of the measures were adopted by both chambers.

Still, efforts are under way to secure approval of some of these revaluation revisions in the upcoming special session.

CBIA will continue to work to ensure that all properties are assessed at the 70% rate and that revaluations are conducted in a timely manner.
