Thomaston Savings Bank employees donated more than $50,000 to the United Way’s annual workplace giving campaign

The campaign supports the United Way’s mission to provide basic human needs, financial stability, and education to individuals across the state.

Thomaston Savings Bank participates in the campaign each year.

Officials say its way to strengthen the connections between employees and their community. 

“Our employees’ outstanding contributions demonstrate our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in our communities.”

All of the bank’s branches and departments are invited to participate and donate to organizations who provide resources and assistance to their local community.

This year, 18 branches and departments had 100% participation.

The bank’s overall donations increased by more than $1,000 from last year.

“Our employees’ outstanding contributions demonstrate our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in our communities,” said Thomaston Savings Bank president and CEO Stephen Lewis.
