“We are really a family.” Autac machinist Ricky Quinones.

Ricky Quinones found a career in manufacturing at Autac Inc. after moving from Puerto Rico to Connecticut.

The Branford business manufactures custom cords and wires for businesses around the world.

Quinones said he worked in multiple jobs over the years, but he never found the same level of interest as he did at Autac.

Now, he has been with the company for seven years, holding numerous positions as he has grown and learned.

“Since I started, I have been going process by process, and I get to learn some new things every time.”
