Downtown Hartford Mural Promotes Arts Ecosystem

Business leaders and their employees have a chance to be part of Hartford’s next mural.

The Greater Hartford Arts Council is in the process of creating a 400-square-foot photo mosaic mural for Pearl Street in downtown Hartford. 

The mural will have roughly 20,000 photos once complete.

The mosaic will be a digital experience as well. 

The completed installation will be accessible online, giving viewers a chance to see individual images and learn about their stories. 

Art Star

To be part of the project, individuals or companies can make a one-time investment as an Art Star. 

All funding from the project goes back to the local arts ecosystem. 

The Greater Hartford Arts Council is also offering organizations the opportunity to match an employee’s $100 contribution with an additional $100, culminating in a full $200 Art Star investment.
