Hartford Yard Goats Partners with Cigna

The Hartford Yard Goats 2024 baseball season is well underway on the field.
But the organization is also hard at work off the field.
The Yard Goats announced a new multi-year sponsorship with The Cigna Group.
Under the deal, Cigna will become a founding partner at Dunkin’ Park.
Partnership
The partnership includes a new sign in the outfield at the ballpark and other branding throughout the stadium.
The Yard Goats and Cigna will also team up for a community partnership to address the mental health and wellbeing of Hartford-area youth.
“The health and vitality of our communities is central to our mission.”

“The health and vitality of our communities is central to our mission at The Cigna Group,” said Cigna Group chief communications officer Melissa Skottegaard.
“We couldn’t be prouder to partner with the Hartford Yard Goats in their work and commitment to the greater Hartford community.”
“We appreciate the strong show of support by The Cigna Group, and more importantly, the shared vision of helping to contribute to positive change in Hartford,” added Yard Goats general manager Mike Abramson.
Community Fabric
In April, Abramson told the CBIA BizCast said the organization takes pride in partnering with businesses.
He said they work hard to be part of the fabric of the community in the Hartford area.
He added that giving back to the community was the goal from day one for Yard Goats owner Josh Solomon.
“Our owner never calls and asks me what sales figures were for the day,” Abramson said.
“It’s ‘How many kids can the after school program have today?’ or ‘What was the snack at the theater program?’”
