Thomaston Savings Bank employees donated more than $49,000 to the United Way’s annual workplace giving campaign

The campaign gives employees in all offices and/or branches of a company an opportunity to donate to organizations who provide resources and assistance to their local community.

The United Way said the goal is to not only raise money for worthy causes, but also strengthen connections between employees and their community.

“Our employees’ remarkable contributions exemplify our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve,” said bank president and CEO Stephen Lewis.

Meaningful Impact

Bank officials said employees take part in the campaign every year.

This year, they saw an 87% participation rate and an increase of over $4,000 in donations.

Seventeen branches and departments had 100% participation, showing their commitment to the United Way’s pledge and supporting their mission.
