SoNE HEALTH Forms Medical Group

A local medical group owned and operated by physicians has launched a new medical group. 

Southern New England Healthcare Organization formed SoNE HEALTH Medical Group at the start of the year. 

Group leaders said SoNE HEALTH Medical Group is open to physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners looking to be part of a transformational and innovative new medical practice. 

“SoNE HEALTH offers a seat at the table for all providers, whether they prefer independence or employment,” SoNE HEALTH Medical Group president Dr. James Uberti said. 

“At SoNE HEALTH, we understand and value providers as the life source of our health system. As such, they should have the flexibility and autonomy to practice medicine however they prefer.” 

The medical group itself will mirror SoNE HEALTH’s physicians-owned model that provides them with a voice in practice governance. 

“In this era of the ongoing disruptive delivery of healthcare, this is a unique opportunity for providers—an option that places the priority on them and their patients,” physician services vice president Kris Gorman said.
