General Dynamics Electric Boat president Kevin Graney is the keynote speaker for CBIA’s Jan. 21 Economic Summit + Outlook.

He will also share how the company is leveraging collaborative partnerships to meet its workforce needs in the middle of a labor shortage and his outlook for the defense manufacturing sector and the state economy.

Gov. Ned Lamont will outline his administration’s policy agenda for the 2022 legislative session, which begins Feb. 9.

McKinsey & Company’s Ezra Greenberg will look at the state, regional, and national economic outlook, and CBIA’s Eric Gjede will host a panel previewing the 2022 General Assembly session, featuring state senators Paul Formica (R-Niantic) and Norm Needleman (D-Essex), and state representatives Kerry Wood (D-Rocky Hill) and Terrie Wood (R-Darien).

Due to the surge in COVID-19 positivity rates, this year’s Economic Summit + Outlook is now a virtual event. The event will be free for CBIA members and $50 for nonmembers.

The Economic Summit + Outlook 2022 is produced by CBIA and the MetroHartford Alliance and made possible through the generous support of Webster Bank.
