CIRI Acquistion a ‘Defining Moment’ for HABCO Industries

Glastonbury-based aerospace components manufacturer HABCO Industries has been acquired by Cook Inlet Region, Inc., with the companies announcing the agreement Feb. 4.
Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Is an Alaska Native regional corporation with subsidiaries and investments in five continents and 45 states, ranging from energy and infrastructure to real estate, government services, and technology services.
HABCO president and CEO Brian Montanari said “he couldn’t be more excited for the future of HABCO Industries being part of the CIRI family.”
“This is a defining moment for HABCO,” he said.
“We’ve built the company on technical excellence, operational discipline, and long-term partnerships with our customers.
“Now, as part of the CIRI family of companies, we are well-positioned to accelerate growth while preserving the culture and customer focus that have defined HABCO for more than five decades.”
Diverse Portfolio
Founded in 1970, HABCO serves commercial and defense aerospace industries, providing engine and airframe sustainment products, FAA Part 145 accessory repair services, and asset management solutions.
HABCO has more than 250 customers in more than 50 countries, including partnerships with leading aerospace companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, RTX, and Engine Alliance.

CIRI was incorporated in 1972.
The company is owned today by nearly 10,000 shareholders around the world.
