CBIA Business Legislative Tours Begin

With the 2026 legislative session in the rearview mirror, CBIA’s policy team will begin touring businesses throughout Connecticut to better understand the business climate, key economic issues, and engage legislators with employers.
CBIA’s policy team successfully led business legislator tours last summer.
Member companies hosted dozens of legislators from both parties to tour their facilities, meet employees, and learned more about their operations to help advocate for policy solutions that drive economic growth and a better business climate.
Engagement
Tours in the past have ranged from small manufacturing companies to large international companies with thousands of employees in Connecticut.
Whether you want to highlight workforce development efforts, showcase an expansion, discuss regulatory challenges, or simply help legislators better understand your industry, a facility tour can be a meaningful and impactful way to engage.
“These visits provide a valuable opportunity to build relationships with your representatives and share real-world perspectives.”
CBIA’s Chris Davis
“These visits provide a valuable opportunity to build relationships with your representatives and share real-world perspectives that can help inform future policy decisions at the Capitol,” CBIA senior vice president of public policy Chris Davis said.
CBIA members interested in hosting a legislator tour should contact CBIA policy and advocacy coordinator A.J. Bellagamba at [email protected].
