The Lamont administration released an online reporting tool April 16 for businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities impacted by federal government directives and funding cuts.

The information will be used to provide state policymakers with a better understanding of how these directives are impacting various groups, geographical regions, and economic sectors.

Administration officials encouraged reporting of issues such as pauses, cancelations and reductions in federal funding, employment cuts, and tariff impacts.

Gov. Ned Lamont said the reporting platform “is intended to shed a light on how these changes from the federal government are affecting people who live, work, and learn in Connecticut.”

“State government has an important responsibility in responding to any crisis that is happening within our borders,” he said in a statement.

“Submitting this data is purely voluntary, but I think everyone understands the importance of sharing this information so that we can better understand what exactly is happening and formulate a response on the state and local levels.”

Officials noted that submissions should be considered public information and may be shared with third parties.
