The deadline for employers and health insurers to furnish forms 1095-B and 1095-C to individuals has been extended from Jan. 1, 2018, to March 2, 2018.
If individuals have not received these forms by the time they file their 2017 taxes, they do not have to wait for the forms to file. They may complete their returns using other information about their health insurance that their employer or insurer may have provided.
In addition, when individuals receive their form(s), they do not need to re-file but should retain the forms with their other tax documents.

Feb. 28 Deadline Unchanged

The IRS has not extended the due date for employers to file 2017 Forms 1094-B, 1095-B, 1094-C, or 1095-C with the IRS.
The deadline remains Feb. 28, 2018, for those with 250 or fewer forms filing by paper, or April 2, 2018, if filing electronically.
