Manufacturing is vital to Connecticut’s economic health and future. Now, after decades of uncertainty, the state’s manufacturers could be entering a new era of opportunity.

Connecticut Creates is a manufacturing summit presented by The National Association of Manufacturers and CBIA on Friday, January 25, from 8:30 am to noon, at the Trumbull Marriott.

Manufacturers and economic and policy experts will discuss the state of manufacturing in Connecticut and focus on how industry is facing its greatest challenges and opportunities.

One of the morning’s panel discussions will feature Connecticut manufacturing leaders sharing their strategies for controlling costs, streamlining their operations, and achieving and sustaining success.

A second panel will focus on current manufacturing workforce issues.

CBIA’s Joe Brennan will wrap up the event with a discussion about ways to  improve Connecticut’s manufacturing climate.
