North Haven-based Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals has a new face leading the company.

Ulbrich’s board of directors appointed Jon Ulbrich as CEO at the start of the year.

Ulbrich previously served as president of Ulbrich’s Service Center Group.

“I am honored to continue building on the strong foundation that has been laid,” Ulbrich said.

“With the exceptional talent and dedication of the Ulbrich team, I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Smooth Transition

Jon Ulbrich replaces Chris Ulbrich, who spent 47 years with the company.

The leadership change comes on the heels of the company’s centennial celebration year, which highlighted the firm’s commitment to its workforce, community, and customers.

Chris Ulbrich is now chair of the company’s board.
