On Saturday, October 6, dozens of makers from across the region will showcase their inventions, innovation, and creativity at Connecticut’s Old State House for the fourth annual Greater Hartford Mini Maker Faire.

Organized by CBIA’s Education & Workforce Partnership, this free, family-friendly day spotlights the ingenuity and craftsmanship of Connecticut makers.

The event showcases makers of all ages and their projects as they share new forms of innovation and experimentation across a range of disciplines.

Hands-on activities include: lasers, coding, an innovator’s workshop, air-rocket challenge, do-it-yourself air conditioning, circuits, and robots, just to name a few.

This year’s event is sponsored by KeyBank, Stanley Black & Decker, Comcast, Renewal By Andersen, Bausch + Stroebel, Arthur G. Russell Co., and Eversource.
