Fuss & O’Neill Acquires Water Engineering Firm

Civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill has acquired Franklin, Massachusetts-based Onsite Engineering. 

The company specializes in, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. 

Fuss & O’Neill, which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary, said the acquisition of Onsite will enhance its water engineering services.

“Their extensive experience and expertise in water-related projects, combined with their strong presence in both public and private sectors, make them an invaluable addition to our team,” said Fuss & O’Neill CEO Kevin Grigg. 

Grigg, who also chairs CBIA’s board of directors, said the move aligns with the firm’s growth objectives. 

“We will continue to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients, ensuring sustainable and effective water management across the regions we serve,” he said.

‘Great Fit’

Onsite Engineering was founded in 2006. 

Their services include water related projects for both the public and private sector.

“They recognize our value and the contributions we will make in helping them expand their presence in the decentralized water and wastewater space,” he said. 

With the acquisition, Fuss & O’Neill now has a staff of more than 400 professionals in 11 offices in the Northeast. 

In May, the company announced that it is moving its headquarters from Manchester to Hartford.
