Murtha Cullina, Harris Beach Merger Brings New Name
Murtha Cullina LLP and Harris Beach PLLC will officially become a combined firm—Harris Beach Murtha.
Firm leaders initially announced plans to merge in May.
Since then, the partnerships of both firms have approved an operating agreement that will govern the new firm.
They will operate as one firm beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Murtha Cullina managing partner Andy Corea and Harris Beach CEO Chris Jagel, are co-leading an interim advisory committee to support the integration efforts and ensure clients continue to receive strong services.
“Our respective firms are eager to collaborate on a wide variety of matters across industries and this demonstrated enthusiasm is just a glimpse of what is to come for Harris Beach Murtha,” said Corea.
Leaders from Murtha Cullina said the firm will continue to have offices in Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford, and Bantam when they are officially combined.
Harris Beach Murtha will have more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, D.C.
