Interested in Cutting Your Energy Costs?
Energy efficiency rebates available for businesses
Are you looking for ways to cut costs and make your business operations more energy-efficient? Energize Connecticut may be able to help.
Brought to you by CL&P, United Illuminating, and the natural gas utility companies, Energize Connecticut’s rebates are designed to help businesses improve the energy efficiency of their offices, stores, and facilities, enabling them to replace aging equipment with newer, more energy-efficient products that can offer improved performance, results, and comfort while lowering overall energy use.
Business rebates are available for qualifying gas heating equipment, natural gas water heaters, boilers, furnaces, and unit heaters, as well as commercial kitchen equipment and commercial washing machines.
In addition to rebates, other energy-saving opportunities for businesses include:
- Incentive programs for both existing buildings and new construction
- Low-interest, convenient financing
- Training programs that introduce energy-saving techniques and other process improvements to maximize the productivity of systems and equipment
- Free energy assessments for small businesses
Rebates are provided on a per-unit basis and are paid directly to customers. Funding is limited, and customers will be qualified for enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis.
Energize Connecticut is an initiative of the Energy Efficiency Fund, the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority, the state, and your local electric and gas utilities, with funding from a charge on customer energy bills.
