M&T Bank Launches Small Business Accelerator Program

M&T Bank is inviting businesses in the Bridgeport metropolitan area to apply for its latest Small Business Accelerator Program.

The program begins Sept. 24, 2025 and runs through Nov. 12, 2025—registration closes Sept. 6, with spaces allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Small businesses located in Bridgeport and surrounding towns that have been in operation from two to five years and have annual revenues of $50,000-$500,000 are eligible for the program.

A partnership with the University of Bridgeport, the intensive weeks-long program targets the development of a diverse set of businesses.

It’s designed to promote business and financial inclusion, providing owners with access to information, tools, resources, and connections they need to grow and thrive.

Participants are presented with tools and opportunities to increase their visibility, accelerate their business, and achieve success.

The program concludes with a pitch competition, featuring prizes between $3,000 and $6,000 for the top three contestants.
