The Kennedy Collective is redefining what partnership looks like at the intersection of business and social impact.

Through federal, state, and commercial contracting platforms, the organization delivers professional, scalable services in warehousing, logistics, custodial care, and grounds maintenance while creating meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities.

The result is a proven double bottom line model that strengthens organizations, builds communities, and demonstrates that inclusion drives performance, innovation, and measurable results.

When organizations outsource essential services such as warehousing, custodial care, or grounds maintenance, they expect strong performance.

The Collective exceeds that expectation by combining operational excellence with social impact, powered by a dedicated workforce of individuals with disabilities.

With its GSA Schedule MAS contract, a strategic partnership with the Connecticut Nonprofit Alliance, and a deep commitment to inclusion, The Collective demonstrates how a double bottom line approach, where social impact drives measurable business results, creates value across federal, state, and commercial markets.

Across every sector it serves, the organization combines performance, purpose, and people to deliver lasting impact.

Warehouse and Logistics

Inside The Collective’s warehouse and logistics operation, precision and purpose define every process. The organization’s supply chain and logistics enterprise offers production, packaging, pick, pack, and ship, and inventory systems that scale to meet the needs of federal, state, and commercial clients.

Through its GSA contract, agencies can procure logistics and supply chain services through a transparent and efficient process. From sourcing and warehousing to shipping and reverse logistics, The Collective provides complete solutions backed by consistent quality and accountability.

Among those powering this work is Nevin, whose story reflects the organization’s mission. After years of job rejections, Nevin found opportunity and belonging with The Collective.

Kennedy gave me that chance,” says Nevin, who works in the warehouse and logistics operation.

“I have been down so many times. I tried my best to get a job, and no one else gave me a chance. Kennedy gave me that chance,” Nevin says.

Today Nevin manages deliveries, verifies orders, and oversees inventory scanning while inspiring his peers.

His supervisor, Garrett Broatch, shares, “I consider myself lucky to work with Nevin every day. He has had a positive effect on my life in more ways than just work.”

Their teamwork shows what inclusion in action looks like. Through its partnerships, The Collective provides dependable logistics solutions while empowering individuals who want to contribute and lead.

Janitorial and Facilities Maintenance

The Kennedy Collective’s facilities maintenance and custodial teams bring professionalism, pride, and environmental responsibility to every facility they serve.

As an ISSA CIMS GB certified provider, the organization meets the highest standards of green cleaning and sustainability, values shared by government, business, and community clients alike.

Through its state and alliance partnerships, The Collective maintains offices, public buildings, and shared spaces that serve as vital infrastructure.

I like everything about the job,” says Jonah.

Behind the polished floors and sanitized workspaces are stories of personal growth. Jonah, who began with little experience, now travels to multiple sites including Norwich and the FAA, taking pride in his work.

“I like everything about the job. I like working with the team, and I also like working on my own. The best part of the job is when I get paid,” Jonah says with a smile.

Jonah’s enthusiasm captures what The Collective represents: work that builds confidence, delivers excellence, and strengthens communities.

Groundskeeping and Landscaping

Across Connecticut, The Collective’s groundskeeping and landscaping enterprise maintains public and private spaces with care and reliability.

Crews manage mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanup, and debris removal for sites that include Department of Transportation facilities, state trooper barracks, and commercial campuses.

Maxwell, who joined the team in 2024, reflects that pride.

“It’s exciting to work,” says Maxwell.

“Pretty much everything is my favorite part of the job,” he says. “It’s exciting to work and see what work is all about.”

That pride shows in every completed site.

The landscaping teams deliver consistent, professional service while providing meaningful employment for individuals who might otherwise be overlooked.

One Mission, Many Pathways

From warehouse logistics to custodial care to landscaping, every enterprise shares one purpose: to deliver measurable results for customers while creating lasting value for people and communities.

The organization operates with a double bottom line philosophy. Every contract and partnership supports both business performance and social progress.

Clients receive dependable, high quality services that meet demanding operational standards, while individuals with disabilities gain meaningful employment, training, and opportunity for advancement.

The Kennedy Collective’s integrated model provides:

  • Flexibility and scale across logistics, maintenance, and operations
  • Procurement efficiency through established federal, state, and commercial contracts
  • Quality and compliance supported by training and certification
  • Social and economic impact, with each dollar reinvested in expanding opportunity

This approach proves that operational excellence and social impact strengthen each other. It delivers a double bottom line for all involved, creating stronger organizations, stronger communities, and a stronger economy built on inclusion and purpose.

For CBIA members, government agencies, and commercial clients, The Kennedy Collective is more than a contractor.
