CBIA’s Policy Team Adds New Advocates
CBIA, Connecticut’s largest business organization, has named Grace Brangwynne [pictured above, left] and Jenna Grasso [pictured above, right] to its advocacy team.
Prior to joining CBIA, Brangwynne served as a congressional campaign manager, real estate lobbyist, and gubernatorial campaign staffer.
Grasso worked in the Connecticut House of Representatives as a legislative aide and public affairs coordinator.
She also led several campaigns across Connecticut and worked as a lobbying assistant at a prominent government relations firm.
“Grace and Jenna share a passion for supporting our state’s employers and expanding opportunities for all of Connecticut’s residents,” said CBIA vice president of public policy Chris Davis.
“Their connections with policymakers on both sides of the aisle and their experience with issues important to CBIA members make them a perfect fit to further our mission to advocate on behalf of our CBIA members.”
As part of CBIA’s advocacy team, Brangwynne will focus on policy solutions related to housing, insurance, planning, public health, and human services.
Grasso will focus on issues related to improving talent pipelines and expanding access to affordable childcare.
“CBIA’s advocacy team is well-positioned to advance solutions that will reimagine Connecticut’s economy to expand, attract and retain a strong workforce, and address the high costs of growing a business in the state,” Davis said.
Brangwynne earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut.
Grasso earned her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Connecticut.
CBIA is Connecticut’s largest business organization, with thousands of member companies, small and large, representing a diverse range of industries from every part of the state. For more information, please contact Scott Beaulieu (860.244.1929).
