MEDIA ADVISORY: Pitney Bowes CEO Headlines April 30 Economic Conference
Marc Lautenbach, president and CEO of Stamford-based Pitney Bowes, is the keynote speaker for CBIA’s April 30 Connecticut Economic Update 2021 conference.
Lautenbach talks with CBIA president and CEO Chris DiPentima about the company’s COVID-19 strategy—focusing first on employee health and well-being and then pivoting to rebuild and emerge from the pandemic as a stronger, more vital organization.
This year’s conference, held online because of COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, also features Federal Reserve Bank of New York economist Andrew Haughwot, who will look at the state, regional, and national economic picture.
Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council president and CEO Peter Hurst, Connecticut Food Bank/Foodshare senior director of network strategy Miranda Muro, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut chief operating officer Stefanie Boles, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford president and CEO Sam Gray discuss the important role nonprofits play in the state’s economy—and why private sector support is essential.
And News 8 chief political correspondent Jodi Latina, Hearst Newspapers Washington correspondent Emilie Munson, Connecticut Mirror state budget reporter Keith Phaneuf, and WSHU Public Radio senior political reporter Ebong Udoma share the inside story on the state and national political scenes.
The Connecticut Economic Update 2021 is produced by CBIA and made possible through the generous support of KeyBank, with additional support from AVANGRID, Berkshire Bank, and JP Morgan Chase.
